Shield

shields were used with one hand, so people using bow and arrows had to have someone else shielding them, the shield bearer, who would put the shield in front of himself whenever the archer had to reload.
Body Armour

body armour was not used much in Ancient Egypt or in the whole of Africa, this was because it was very hot in Africa. But sometimes the charioteers wore leather.
Helmet

Egyptians did not use helmets but except for the pharaohs. Instead, they wore special headgear.
